SHOW ROLES FOR USER

Show roles for a specific user.

Syntax

SHOW ROLES FOR USER user_specification

user_specification:
  'user_name'@'host_name'

Output

Column Description
Roles of user user_name Roles of specified user

Example

SHOW ROLES FOR USER 'root'@'localhost';
