Connecting to Tableau min read

You can use Tableau to connect to a MemSQL cluster to explore your data. Before you start, gather the following information:

• Hostname - The name of the MemSQL server that hosts the database you want to connect to
• Username - The username you’ll be using
• Password - The password for this username

Once you have that information, you can connect to MemSQL from Tableau using the MemSQL example in the Tableau Documentation.
